Day 16 Sleeping on Floor and Use Neck Pillow for Stress and Anxiety

When you are stressed, irritated, have racing thoughts, feel anxious, and cannot be kind to others, sleeping on the floor can help you calm down and relax. I can hear small pops in my shoulder and back as I breathe slowly and deeply.

Purpose

•Helps align spines while we are asleep

Benefits

•Spine health and alignment

•Stimulate the skin and liver to increase venous return

•Encourage excretion

•GI Health

•Feels better when your stomach is empty (practice eating smaller portions first may be helpful)

•Good for unexplained weird back pain, nerve pain, joint issues, and muscle stiffness

How to do it

•Place a bath towel or Futon  on the floor, lie down, put a neck pillow, and cover yourself with a thin blanket

On Travel

•I don’t want to sleep on the floor, so I take out all the pillows and sleep on the bed.

Day 16 in Transition

My weight is back to 123.0 lb.
I was so tired last night, and often we eat too much when we are tired, and that's what happened to me. I did not feel the motivation to go outside and felt stressed about someone, so I lay down and meditated for 10 minutes.

This is well known as grounding activity by many people.

We can utilize our sleep time for that and start every day with a fresh mind and body.
